English Corner - Witches

On April 30th, when the sun goes down, Czech people keep a tradition called The burning of the Witches. We prepare an effigy of the witch and then burn it. While "the witch" is on fire, we roast sausages, listen to music and have a good time. This traditon has become very popular especially with kids.
