Places of the Czech Republic
Czech Republic is beautiful country because we have lakes, mountains, forests and cities.
Climate in the Czech republic
The climate in the Czech republic is a continental climate.
We have four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, winter.
In summer the weather is hot and dry.
In winter it is cold and wet.
In autumn and spring it rains a lot and it is normal weather.
It is usually hot and dry in the summer. People usually swim in the swimming pool or in rivers or lakes. They like riding a bike, camping and canoeing. In winter it is cold in the mountains and it snows. We can ski and snowboard. In lowlands it isn’t as cold as in the mountains. But sometimes it is snow there too. The spring and autumn is wet and warm. My favourite season is winter because I love snow and snowboard.
What do people do? In spring people go outside for a walk and ride bikes.
In summer people go swimming because it is hot, or they go on holiday. In autumn people go picking colorful leaves that fell on their garden. (nápověda: děje se to opakovaně)
In winter people go skiing and enjoy the snow.
The best places in the Czech Republic for tourists
Everyone must see Prague because i tis very old city with a lot of sights. We can find Prague castle and Charles bridge there. Under the Charles bridge there is the river Vltava. You can take a boat for a trip. You can have lunch in restaurants or cafés.
The second largest city in the Czech Repubic is Brno. You can see Vila Tugendhat – this is my favourite place in Brno. You can have a relax in Zelný trh or visit Špilberk castle.
Lovely comparisons - Krásná srovnání:
In mountains the weather is colder than in cities.
In the winter there is more snow in the mountains than in the Central Bohemian Region.
Prague is bigger than Brno, and also Prague has more residents than Brno.
Prague has more ice skating places than Ostrava does.
